Robinson College/ Medicine

Hi guys.
Hope you're all having a good summer.

This is not really for certain yet but i am thinking of applying for medicine at Robinson College in September.

What can any of you guys tell me about Robinson College and medicine at cambridge?

Robinson is very red and quite friendly. We have nice porters. Our rooms are nice (lots en suite, some have to share with one other person, fewer (including me, last year) have to share with 2 other people, good size in my opinion) except for a quarter of second years (including me next year :rolleyes:

) who live in rubbish terraced houses.

Robinson medics are the bomb. And I like the bar. :smile:

You get surprisingly good supervisors too. I know the Anatomy supervisor in the first year and the Pathology supervisor in the second year are excellent. I don't actually go to Robinson, so it's hard for me to comment any further.

It seems very good for medicine. Your DoS would be Dr Parkin who's really cool (he's my tutor). He once told me about cutting off a cadaver's dick and leaving it in a friends handbag when he wasa student
