Natural, with a bit of a tan.

I am personally not attracted to her at all, but I think she is quite pretty. However she is clearly an exception. It's obvious that there are exceptions to every rule.

Most pale people look rather ill and have very uneven skin, with piggy pink blotches, ugly freckles/melanin spots and visible spidery veins. Also while pale faces can be attractive on occasion, I don't think I've ever seen an attractive pale body.

Or you have naturally pale skin and live in england? How people still believe if you are pale you must be a loser to stay indoors all day is beyond me:facepalm2:

Living in England is not really an excuse, the sun still shines outside.

Have you not seen the weather these past few days? Or have you been shut away inside all this time.

And please show me where I said people with pale skin are losers, or conversely stop putting words in people's mouths.

Tanned. Olive or very light brown skin looks best.

Pale skin = yuk

LOL @ the pasty nerds on this forum voting for their own skin tone. :teehee:

Let's face it... there is a reason why most hollywood actresses, famous musicians, popular girls in general society etc. have tans. It's because looking like a ghost is not a good look.

Also LOL @ how this forum is full of people who regularly post deeply offensive comments about black women, but whenever I express sentiments similar to the above, I get warned by forum administrators/moderators for misusing the anon function or being 'racist'.

BTW I'm not a butt-hurt black person.

Sadly yes, the girls i fancy usually are the ones that have some sort of secret love affair with the CEOs of fake tan companies....

Pale girls :sogood:

I don't know what people put in the term "pale" though, is it the natural colour of someone who is light-skinned or someone who is white emo-style?
I think pale looks best if it's the first one, or like this:

I have to say - LOL at the girls with Facebook pics of themselves with deep flawless tans...and then you see pics of them with their death white families.

Depends on the girl. I like both pale and tanned, just not fake orange kind of bs.

... your sig has what I would say is that fake orange kind of bs ...

Reply 51

I've noticed that most people are saying they don't like fake looking tans/orange skin, but my skin has the tendency to look like that sometimes. :s-smilie:

I've never used fake tan in my life, but as we're on the topic of skin colour I've always wondered what people think of mine...

Spoiler

That's my arm by the way, I'm not blessed with legs that size unfortunately...and yes I'm aware it looks a bit deformed.

It isn't actually that bad at the moment, I get a lot darker during summer.

why do people think a tan looks healthy. the healthiest colour for your skin to be is the colour you were born with sitting in the sun until it changes colour is NOT healthy

You are obviously ignorant of science, so I'll explain it to you in a way you might understand. Spending time in the sun not only makes you look much much healthier, it is essential for your health. It is the only way your body can get protection from a whole range of diseases, whilst producing vital vitamins your body needs and gives you healthy skin.

There's a difference between pale and ghostly white.

I'd also prefer to be only a tiny bit tanned for the rest of my life than have skin cancer.

Pale with dark hair ftw

yeppity yep I totally agree. People just don't want to hear that a natural tan or a pleasant fake tan looks miles better than pale. The average tanned girl is bound to be far better looking than the average pasty girl......posting pics of ONE celeb won't disprove this. Most pale girls look nothing like Rachel M or Christina Hendrics! :s-smilie:

S'all personal opinion in the end but comparing that token Hendricks with Snooki/Other famous oompa loompa smacks of insecurity

edit/

the skin cancer argument doesnt even come into this! Are you kidding? A bottle of QUALITY gradual tanner that leaves you with a soft but flawless tan costs about £10 and SPF costs an extra £10. Nobody is telling you to fry yourself to death jheeze, stop with the extremes. Thats like me saying all pale girls look like they have deep vein thrombosis on their tits!

I think tanned skin looks better on most people. I don't like the really dark tanned skin though, just a brown glow, like a sun kiss, that's nice, makes a person look healthy and less ghostly like. A natural tan is best rather than a fake tan which just looks horrid most of the time. Pale skin can look preferable but it decides on the person I guess!.

I think it looks good with a slight tan on your legs and arms during summer, but it's better to protect the face (not to mention if the sun doesn't show now, it will when you're 30).
For girls with a beautiful face with gentle features, I think it looks best to be pale (at least more elegant). If your face is...well, nothing special, a tan can "beach babe" it up a little bit.
If she went ahead and got a major tan it would ruin everything:

Gimmeh' a tan.

I have burst out laughing at one girl I met who was glowing orange, so must be natural.

Pasty girls look pasty.

Reply 59

A natural looking tan, not too ott. To be honest there are girls who fake tan with good stuff and subtly enough that it looks natural, and is therefore just as attractive .
