yeppity yep I totally agree. People just don't want to hear that a natural tan or a pleasant fake tan looks miles better than pale. The average tanned girl is bound to be far better looking than the average pasty girl......posting pics of ONE celeb won't disprove this. Most pale girls look nothing like Rachel M or Christina Hendrics!

the skin cancer argument doesnt even come into this! Are you kidding? A bottle of QUALITY gradual tanner that leaves you with a soft but flawless tan costs about £10 and SPF costs an extra £10. Nobody is telling you to fry yourself to death jheeze, stop with the extremes. Thats like me saying all pale girls look like they have deep vein thrombosis on their tits!

Most people on this forum like to pretend that a tan is always dark orange. They seem to be completely unfamiliar with the concept of a nice natural tan or a nicely done artificial one.

Penelope Cruz, Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Eva Longria, Aishwarya Rai, Keira Knightley etc. all have a tanned skin tone to varying degrees. Now some of you might not find all of them attractive, but what is certain is that none of them look orange.

Pale = can be gorgeous, rarely so, usually boring
Tan = can be gorgeous, more often so, usually decent
Orange = disgusting, always disgusting

Why would anyone prefer someone who is pale and pasty?

It looks unhealthy and unnatural, unless for some reason you stay indoors all day, or your dad is Josef Fritzl.

Girls who are so pale you can see green veins popping out are vomit inducing, it's unattractive and unpleasant.
They should get out some more and get some vitamin E.

Let's face it... there is a reason why most hollywood actresses, famous musicians, popular girls in general society etc. have tans. It's because looking like a ghost is not a good look.
