Has anyone read "War and Peace" by Tolstoy? Whenever i give in my essays to my history teacher, he always says that they're like War and Peace - if you've seen/read the book you can go figure how many pages i write!!
I recently read 1984 by George Orwell, i know its not really history, but more politics related, but i found it incredibly fascinating! Does anyone else feel that way if they've read it?

I own war and peace, got it out the other day, yep it is huge. 1984 is the most awesome book ever (after Animal Farm ) - Orwell for me is the novelist of the 20th C.
