    probably hammer on and pull-off. But it would be helpful to know which tabs you were on about.

    e.g. 2h4 : play fret 2, hammer on four.
    4p2 : play fret4, pull-off to fret 2

    yup, hammer on, pull off. slashes for slide up, slide down. Doesn't need to say the chord names because he's tabbed them out. Number on string is fret to play. Doesn't indicate timing etc, so you'll need to know the song.

    OK but what do you mean tabbed them out? Theres no way I can tell which chords to hold down :confused:

    Also about the slashes would I stroke down for say all the numbers following the \ and stroke down for all the numbers following the down stroke? Just makin sure

    oh think i get it but my hand wont reach all the way to the fifth fret at the same time as holding down the second :confused:

    You've got to play it as a barre chord: press your index over the second fret, your ring finger on the fourth fret and your little finger on the fifth.

    If you're starting guitar maybe you should try something else out. This looks a bit tricky.
