^^ Thanks. You don't know how motivating it is to know that someone liked it. I'm not sure yet but most probably birmingham, edinburgh, liverpool and southampton.

Only a complete fool posts their personal statement on an open access website.

    Someone else will steal it....

Medicine is defiantly an applied science, but it is still a science. You should focus a little more on your passion for the biomedical sciences and commitment to engage at the highest level.

So, Mr/Miss XXX - why medicine and not biomedical sciences?
    .

To be frank, I would stay away from the whole 'passion for the human body', 'I love science' thing - they hear it 100000000 times a year! You're applying for medicine so that almost goes without saying! It's a total waste of a paragraph or two on a form that really isn't big enough anyway - why do it???

Concentrate on the skills that will make you a good medical student and ultimatley a great doctor - that's what they're interested in!

^^ Yea. I focused mainly on the skills needed to be a doctor. I didn't mention much about loving science etc. But i did mention my facination with the human body. Does that sound too cliche?

Hey. I'll look through your statement if you like. I'm not a sciences person but I can check the English and make general comments.
