    Hi guys,

I'm taking part in a debate tomorrow. It's a balloon debate and the motion is This House Would Choose To Spend Christmas With...

I've chosen Doctor Who as I believe he would certainly be an exciting character to pass the holidays with but I'm a bit short of arguments and wondered whether anyone could give me some more.

So far I've considered the character of the Doctor himself, time travel, visiting distant planets...

What else? Why would spending Christmas with Doctor Who be amazing?

    Thanks for your help!

You don't have to worry about him choking on your Christmas dinner and dying. He'd be right back again not long later, all new and stuff. :p:

If you consider the looks of the past doctors... David Tennant's pretty beautiful...

Also, how about he'd keep regenerating so no worries of getting bored of him or his looks, hahaha. Variety is the spice of life! Visiting planets and trying to fix situations - helping others - worthwhile thing to spend your life doing?

Since he makes a point of saving Earth around this time of the year for each Christmas special, you could be there while it happens.

This is the sort of debate I would be willing to take part in. Take me with you! I'm so glad I found this on the home page.

    On the plus side:
    1. Learning a lot about yourself. Morals, etc.
    2. The TARDIS. Oh, so many innuendos to be had.
    3. The running would burn off the Christmas dinner. :woo:
    4. Also, learning to love jelly babies, marmalade and banana daquiris.

But there's also the downer of realising just how destructive we are as a race.

(I'll see if I can come up with any more. :p: )

EDIT: Oh, and what punkyrocker said.
