    I read this in someones statement.

    'I am a dedicated learner, have the ability to listen diligently to people. I believe there is a severe lack of great "DON" doctors like me, '

    What the hell was this person thinking!

    I'd be shocked if some1 did accept him for medicine :bandit: :rolleyes:

    a guy from ucas came to our sch to give us a talk and told us somebody submitteed an acrostic poem for their statement - they didnt get in lol

    Sometimes being creative can pull off
    I remember one of the philosophy students submitted her PS at the last min in the style of one of the guys she had to study - having written a normal one that was approved by her teachers. Not only did she get her place at Durham but the tutor wrote her back a response in the same style saying how creative it was!

    I did that!! Also for Philos :p: (And got a wicked reply!)
    Weirdness must be a hit with Philosophy Professors, obv (especially the Durham ones...it seems...:confused:...what a cool uni!!)

    I did a Summer School thingy at UCL and their whole PS was a spider diagram. They were accepted at Oxford.
