cup should be the same, but the straps and everything are a different size, like 36 is for those with a larger rib cage? ... I think...

Yep
1) Find your band size: take a tape measure and measure around your chest just under your arms. Remember to stand up straight. If it's an odd number, like 33, go to the next higher even number, in this case band size 34.

2) Find your cup size: measure around the fullest point of your bust across your nipples. Do this with your bra on. If this number is 1 inch more than your band size, your cup size is an A. Two inches more than your band size, you're a B, etc. See the table below.
Difference Cup Size
0 AA
1 A
2 B
3 C
4 D
5 DD
6 DDD
7 F
8 FF
9 G
10 H

o come on, guys are typically great at clocking someones size. i know i can just look and tell exact size straight off.
least i tohught that until a mate the other day revealed she was in fact not a 30C as i would have said, but a 30E. so THATS why she wears unrevealing clothes that never show any cleavage...

Mine have grown since I went on the pill but I still fit in my tops and didn't think it was that obvious until my drunken bloke mate the otherday went bloody hell have you had implants you've got boobs for a change  blokes are so tactless, they arent that much bigger at all my friends all have bigger ones.

My friend got married last year and lost a ton of weight (about 5 stone) the year before her wedding. Anyway one of her husbands mates one night before they got married got a bit drunk when we were out, and said " you know I couldn't think what the hell he saw in you when you were fat and ugly but he knew more than me because you're quite fit now" and then wondered why she slapped him and didn't speak to him for 3 months.

Lol not least when people wear the wrong size... A friend's girlfriend was about a big B small C but used to wear a much smaller number so that she'd be a D

that wouldn't make her a D though...it would just make her look lumpy and feel uncomfortable!

i think the fact that shes wearing a D rather than normally wearing a C and B is more important to her... She just wants someone whoever finds out what bra size sh'e wearing think shes really a D
