something I don't get about postgrad engineering courses

Hey all

I've noticed the entry requirements for postgrad MSc engineering degrees is usually a bachelors degree in engineering or physics... but imagine someone applied to do an MSc in aerospace engineering, with a degree in physics, and another applied with a BEng in aerospace engineering... surely they'd either be covering content that the physics guy had no background in, or content that was stuff the aerospace guy already knew? How does this work?

The physics guy would know much more than you think, mathematics and physics are a main part of aerospace engineering. Usually a person that had a Beng in Aerospace engineering will choose a Masters degree that deepens his knowledge, if the masters degree offers him the same modules as his undergraduate degree then he would be wasting his time and that is why they go for something relevant but different.
makes sense, cheers
