that is just inviting it though.... the invigilators are asked to remind you (final warning) before exam paper is given out.. in case anyone forgot
Well, yes, I'm just backing up someone's point that realistically the only way you can miss an EE offer is if you get disqualified for cheating...

Someone in my school got disqualified for his phone ringing. Oh and I know about three people who realised that they had their phone halfway through and went to the loo to remove the battery.

Were you allowed to do that during examination hrs? I was not allowed to do anything or go anywhere during my 3 hrs chemistry paper. The examiner told me i should not bother coming in again if i mistakingly step out of the examination hall.

Heh, I don't think it was so bad at A Level, but during most of my GCSEs, scrawled on the whiteboard at the front of the hall were the immortal words:

"TOILET? DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING"

Our examinations officer was a star :p:

    Good for you.

Okay! Imgine you were given 2E's offer and the condition is you must get 2E's in your A levels (it is a must)unless and all your AS results were A's infact 4 A's

What would you do? It is a bit silly but i said imagine.

Don't sit the A2 modules in two subjects and decline the grades in the other two, so you have 2 Es and two nothings.

Btw, there's no apostrophe between E and s. It's a plural. Not possessive.

    I am a pedan't.

    Cheating?

I wouldn't imagine so. Taking a phone into an exam and getting caught constitutes cheating.
No, to miss an EE offer without doing it delibrately. :p:

Well, in this case you can use an apostrophe if you like - using apostrophes for plurals of letters, numbers and acronyms is allowed. Some people like it, some people don't. Personally, I think it's ugly, but if you're going to stick to the rules then you can't get annoyed about it I suppose. See: http://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/apostro.asp

Personally, I think that the "rules" of grammar are far more open than they are made out to be...
