If you come to Peterborough they hang outside the shops on the lawns of the Cathedral on Saturdays and are known locally as the Ptown Square kids.
Why they feel the need to spend their Saturdays congregating on the lawns of the cathedral or hogging the benches in the central square no one knows. It's like a sea of black stretching on for miles....

I know what you mean, they hang around near the entrance to Princes Quays by the excavated city walls and in the summer sit by the fountain near the BBC building.
I blame the shop Blue Banana for attracting them.

Bear in mind most of the 'scene' kids are just that - kids. I went through an 'emo' phase when I was about 14

sorry Adonis, i doubt they you are their type, i have a couple of emo/goth male and female friends, and the type of music/fashion and everything they do is the opposite of what you might like.... most of them only go out with 'their kind'.. any way GOOD LUCK, YOULL NEED IT
TBH the music I quite like or least could tolerate if I disliked it, the other stuff - not so much
and I was afraid of the 'only with their kind' mentality
it's like asian 'gyaldem' who only go out with bad-boi's

Get a single ring lower lip piercing off to the side, go to a salon or something to get your hair made to look fashionably messy, and start wearing jeans and t-shirts that are too small for you.
Chances are by then your halfway to being scene by those girls (get it, hohoho!).
