Would it be fair to suggest such a plan would take a lot of planning, and therefore, unlikely to be linked to the Olynpic decision *yesterday* ?

    Thats a good point.

Radio 4 just had a man from the BMA on. The Bus was just outside the BMA and there were a number of doctors who ran out to help.

The doctor on the radio confirmed 10 deaths (not all instant), 9 seriously injured and 9 walking wounded from the bus blast.
    That's just from one blast??

I'm relieved my sister who works just down the road from Liverpool station is fine. Her work places is now being told to go home. I guess she's very lucky. Thank God. I feel for anyone else who don't know if their loved ones are ok....even if they are alive

    :hugs:

I am disgusted, and truely saddened. and hearing tonys speach brought a tear to my eye......

Is there anything in the fact that london got 2012 yesterday? Would it have happened in another country if they got it?! I mean the focus IS on london in the wake of londons winnign of the lympic big.

Blair is on the way home at least...
Sure, they wanted to errode or counteract our happiness re: 2012 Olympics! ... and send a message to those who will be visiting London then!

"Perfectly" and patiently timed if you ask me!

These people deserve to have every one of their stems plucked from our grounds!

    Yup.

The Dr (didn't catch his name I was driving) said that the majority of the worst injured/dead were people walking on the other side of the road hit by debris.

He also confirmed that the buildings do not appear to have been damaged/involved (some of the sky news witness accounts seem to hint at it being a bomb in a building).

I'd seriously recommend everyone put radio 4 on right now...from what little I heard on my lunch hour they're giving out much better and more accurate information than the television or websites.

But surely he'd be of more use at the G8 meeting? And he wouldn't be distracting the police - who have better things to do on the ground - if he stayed in Gleneagles.

Michael Howard was wearing a pink shirt in the House this morning.
