People who say ''Man'' at the end of every sentence...

(Yes it's worthy of a thread and yes it does bother me)

What are your views on people (usually men) who end every sentence with the word ''Man'', for example ''Let's go to the pub man'', I find it annoying. I'm pretty sure it comes from America, and when an American says it it suits them and their accent. But when a middle aged man (who thinks he's cool) from Kent says it I have to admit it isn't so cool.

It just doesn't suit the British accent, and when anyone with a British accent utters the words ''yeah man'', it doesn't sound right and sits uncomfortably. As though it's been read from a script.

What are your thoughts man?
I do it a fair bit. A lot of people I know do to, language changes over time... Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Fake vocal fry and upspeak are higher on my list of irritating behavior. 🤔
