That's really odd... I think the first thing to sort out is whether it's true nerves (a psychological thing) or just a physical feeling and a bodily problem.

What do you eat before you go to bed, and how long before bed do you eat it?

..when im in bed my legs ache like hell, does anyone know why?

Varies really. I usually have a snack after tea about two hours before I go to bed, which can be anything from junk like icecream and crisps to healthy food like fruit, but it still happens when I don't eat anything after tea or if I don't eat at all.

Are you being sarcastic?

muscle spasms or cramps???

I'm not sure how to describe it really, only that it's like a tingling sensation in my stomach like I get when I'm nervous. :| Sorry I can't be more helpful.

lol i get both of these sometimes! i find i get the feeling in my stomach thats kinda like butterflys and a hint of sickness. I find i get it when ive been up too long or havent eaten enough. it actually helps me get to sleep quickly so i dont really mind it. I do sometimes get a kind of crampy feeling in my legs sometimes, especially when its cold. I used to get it a lot more than i do now. could have been growing pains or something.

Since you get this at nighttime, surely it should be moths?

Goodnight...

Markus, I get that same feeling. What I think we suffer from is called restless leg syndrome. It is believed to be passed genetically, may be caused by high caffeine intake or lack of Vit B12 (don't count on all this, I', trying to remember what I read)

Tatty, I know what you mean. I get that as well. I find it is due to too many things going on in my head. Over analysing the day or anticipating tomorrow. It sucks because it means I can't get to sleep until the early hours of the morning and even then I wake up throughout the night and feel shattered the next day.

Thanks for everyones replies. It's reassuring in a weird way to hear that other people suffer from the same thing; and Naxalite, I agree. I think it's due to too many things whizzing around in my head - I think I need to find a way to stop thinking and they'll go away.

And lol at Seabiscuit. :p:

Well then, I apologise. I don't know what to say about your leg, but it doesn't sound very pleasant or healthy. I think maybe you should go and see a Doctor.
