I do sports (fencing, kick boxing) at least three times a week (usually) and still manage to drink on weekends. I don't like clubbing though.

I didn't go into a night club until I was 19 years of age. I didn't drink any alchohol until I was 18. I really was a bit of a geek in my growing up a years or you could even go as far as loner. I have plenty of friends now though and go out on an 8 hour drinking session every weekend. Basicaly it starts in local bars and ends up in my favourite night club.

I like that club for the music though as its everything I am into, (indie).

I thought when I was 17/18 that I would never go into a night club or even go into pubs with mates etc. All that has changed now. I also thought I would be single all my life, well that bit has not changed yet.

Both. But I prefer going to friends. Actually I prefer going to the rich people in my neighbourhood's parties... (I'm so shallow...)

I'd choose sports over clubbing any day, but that's me!

I don't hate clubbing. DOn't like dancy ravy clubs though. Prefer rock/cheese clubs. It's great to let the alcohol inspire you with confidence to make you get on that dance floor and dance your little heart out!

With me it depends on the club, if it was in a small town I would hate clubbing as it would scally infested and play awful music. However int he cities you can go to specialist clubs. In Manchester I tend to go 5th ave which plays Classic Indie and I love all that Joy Division/New Order/Stone Roses/Doves stuff.

Its a bit smokey but drinks are cheap and I have not once seen any trouble in there.

Thus defeating your original question including;

"so are ppl who dont go clubbing and stay in every night geeks?
