I worked in a French supermarket, actually technically they call it Hypermarket which is even worse as it means even bigger aisles and more customers. I was responsible for stacking the shelves in the beer and wine section and stock control and deliveries. The main attraction was seeing the drunkards buy their wine at 10am or the little kids getting all excited about buying their first pack of beer and wondering if they'll get caught.
Then they moved me to the pasta and misc. section...

I wasn't treated badly but I felt treated like I was some kind of dimwit when my boss, who wasn't even technically a manager, made comments about me not being fast enough. It's quite a good experience as it's quite humiliating in a good way. It was quite funny on the last day when I said, well guys I have to go back to Uni... and they're all stunned "You go to Uni?" (but we treated you like **** for a month and thought you were a dimwit).
LOL. Just because you buy alcohol in the morning doesn't make you a drunkard.

    Oh okay, fair enough.

It's just annoying when people make a fuss if they see me drink at 10-11am when I used to wake up at 2-3am for work. For most people who work the usual M-F 9-5 this would be gone lunch time and a fair few wouldn't complain about a drink then.

I've got a job interview tomorrow at Tesco! Eeek! Don't know whather or not I'm looking forwards to it-I've had so many rejections from different places I'm worried that they're going to reject me here as well. Just remember, big smile, get my suit on, eye contact, and all the rest...That I can do, the hard part is selling myself. Not my strong point.

I suppose it's a bit late to be asking for tips, I think I might be gong to bed now, seeing how I have to get up soon.
