Why are there so many dead pheasants in Northumberland? I was there yesterday and there were loads on the road! Also, we had to wait half an hour as someone had crashed into the middle bit of the dual carriageway to, presumably, avoid a fox that was lying dead with some of its back end missing as the traffic drove by. Cumberland is so much better.

    (stfu)

Edit: Well, Cumbria. Cumberland is only part of Cumbria according to Kershoutspooncycle.

Isn't Cumbria made up mostly of parts of Westmoorland and Cumberland?

Yes, mostly. Westmorland and Cumberland joined in 1974 to form Cumbria, but former parts of Lancashire and Yorkshire are also part of Cumbria. I didn't know that until I read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westmorland
