For the last three days or so it's been The Blood Brothers - Love Rhymes With Hideous Car Wreck. I saw it live at Reading and thought it was awesome and it's actually awesome recorded too. That and Black Heart Procession - It's a crime I never told you about the diamonds in your eyes.

The former is a very light, indie post-hardcore song with brilliant understated drums and keys and distinctive boy-girl vocals singing something quite incredible about love and a car crash. The latter is indie at its finest, with a slight Blood Arm/The Decemberists "olden days" feel, thanks to some brilliant piano - actually sounds a little like the new Oasis song come to think of it, only good instead of mediocre.

yeh me too, i think she's fantastic. Especially when she sung black horse and cherry tree live and recorded the backing singing and beat there and then, it was really good.
