Yea rooney is an amzing player but we wont need him for the group stage anyways, the last 16 is goin to be the hardest, if we get to the last 8 i fink we might get brazil if they win all their games which is likely

I've had the (mis) fortune of seeing all of these except Souness and Ron Harris play. There've got to be some more of the guys from the Leeds and Chelsea teams of the 70s though. lol I have 5 defensive midfielders.

    -------Lehmann------
    Repka Ruddock I Pearce
    -----Keane Wise-----
    Harris Souness Jones
    --Ferguson K Davies--

    Subs:
    Bergkamp
    Shearer
    Ed 'the pitbull' Davids
    Vieira
    Bowyer

This wouldn't suprise me if it was a fake account started by a Liverpool fan or someone in attempt to make Man United fans look like ********s. It's something Liverpool fans or whoever specialise in on the bbc 606 forums.

Then I suggest we keep Rooney out of that game  The portuguese keep injuring the guy! First, the Euro 2004, now Pre-World Cup 2006

Id be suprised, this is a very common opinion on man united forums.

Have we not done this already? As I said in the Lpool vs Chelsea thread, neither set of fans are going to agree, nor be able to substantiate claims, however trivial. Accept that all clubs have their following of undesirable characters, some more than others (Chelsea, Leeds, Milwall, Hull...), but they shouldn't do a disservice to what the REAL fans are like.

Don't bother taking a holier than thou approach. It really wont work.

I implore you to stop disgracing fellow United fans. We've been over how Chelsea have acquired their success, and be it rightly or wrongly, there is no need to launch into a tirade at them. After all, they didn't ask for it (although I'm sure they don't mind now they've got it).

We could easily have the same "part-time" tag levied at us. Think first.

Whenever you goto an away game the away fans seem more vocal... Generally you only get the fans who really want to be at the matches rather than those who go because they have been going for years etc and so get all the people who want to sing etc, plus they are in a compact area so it will seem louder, home support is always just as vocal but it is spread about the whole ground..... Its a fact that away fans always seem louder than home support if you are sat in the away end, its all down to stadium acoustics.

Do you not have an online ticket service? Anyway, if it's on general sale, the demand obviously wasn't that great amongst members.

It's true, when we're at home it doesn't seem to matter how much noise we make, it doesn't ring around the ground like it used to (though it has improved since we opened up the stadium recently). You need a low roof, like Filbert Street, officially the loudest ground in the Premiership when Leicester were there.
