I won't know how i've done on any of mine until the final stages.
I think you're being a bit harsh on Argentina though, they were great in possession, scored a great goal and looked fairly solid even against the Ivory Coast's Pace and strength. Much more solid than Brazil and only a bit less flair- Ronaldo, Adriano, Kaka, Ronaldinho v Crespo, Saviola, Requelme, Messi? I'd give it to Brazil by a small margin. Lucio, Juan, Gilberto, Emerson v Ayala, Heinze, Mascherano, Cambiasso? Argentina by a mile.

I bet on Holland to win tomorrow, for evens that seemed a good bet.

jose, I mean like Ivory Coast and stuff. There's many other bets on here I've seen which I think are ridiculous

Absolutely mad. Well it's your money obviously. Some of the bets are just getting a little too optimistic.

    Let me give you some tips;

The next time that ref who ref'd the England game today refs a match, bet on the booking points on that match to be high.

When we [England] play, bet on more than 12 corners in the match.

Consider Sweden not qualifying for the next round

Bet on Spain to score more than 12 tournament goals

There's so many more. I should make that thread sometime I wonder how many of the above will be correct.

    I wouldn't..

Btw, I think you're the best person to ask, do you think Lehmann will retain his place in goal? Is he a clear number one, or.. ?

Go to the extension's option and remove the Icelandic/Serie A/B leagues... or have you done that already?
Yeah done that. Tried everything and it gives me them whatever leagues i've got selected

Also consider England's top scorer. Rooney was fit enough to be on the bench today? And no England player has scored yet.

His odds are currently 15/2 while Owen's is 5/2. Will Rooney play England's next game?

    They're great odds. http://www.willhill.com/iibs/en/buil...oice=WC1260165

The kid apparantly might get to meet his hero Gerrard after all-just not in the england game

Louis may still have the chance to meet Steven Gerrard after the firm arranged for him to be a Liverpool "player escort" at the FA Community Shield game against Chelsea on Aug 13. The offer was made "as a gesture of goodwill''.

yeah what were you thinking? with all due respect he is hardly going to leave Spurs for Pompey. No offence. you see harry has a knack for buying players on the cheap who turn out to be very good. Yakubu, defoe, carrick etc. i just hope that with the money and stuff he stops looking and just spending.

Klinsmann is a stubborn *******. I don't think, UNFORTUNATELY he will let Kahn enjoy first team action in his last World Cup, but if Lehmann has a bad game against Ecuador or Poland, we MAY see Kahn back in the goalmouth, since pressure in Germany will mount swiftly, and they will be after Klinsmann.

For now I think Lehmann is staying in goal for the tournament, pending more awful goalkeeping...

Its like 16-1 for a penalty to be scored and 12-1 for a penalty to be missed, I can see myself coming out nicely if i put a quid on each of those for most matches.
