Why all the fuss about Lampard. He is a quality midfielder. Everyone has over reacted (as per usual with England fans).

I just wanted to say well done to Iran on their draw. They played well in that match.

Still a draw's a draw. It's better than losing all their matches.

The only reason England are capable of winning the world cup is because they can beat any team. Sure its not not looking likely but its certainly possible, where as with a lot of other teams cant.

Having said that, theres nothing special about England.

Argentina, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, protrugual, Italy are also all capable of beating Brazil. Just like with England its unlikely, (thou in most cases more likely then England)

France don't look like they can beat a pub team these days! Having said that, I hope they do, because I'll have money on them winning lol.

Premiership begins on saturday the 19th of august, opening fixtures are:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
    Arsenal v Aston Villa

    Bolton v Tottenham

    Chelsea v Man City

    Everton v Watford

    Man Utd v Fulham

    Newcastle v Wigan

    Portsmouth v Blackburn

    Reading v Middlesbrough

    Sheff Utd v Liverpool

    West Ham v Charlton

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    So in a summary,

    - Chelsea open up their title defence against Manchester City at home.
    - Liverpool face a tricky tie to Sheffield United away
    - First team to play Arsenal in the emirates stadium is Aston Villa.
    - Man United begin their campaign with a home tie against Fulham.

England for sure. you can tell by the way they went out against Ecuador. Fully strong team with all guns blazing.

England aren't a world class team. If they can't beat Sweden, does anyone think they can beat Argentina, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, or Holland? I think not. I would like England to win but in their current form it's not looking likely.
    1. Sweden have long been a bogey team for us for some reason.

    2. England raise their game against better opponents, when they have to.

    3. Need I remind you we did beat Argentina not long ago. Don't tell me that's different because it was a friendly - you look at the way both teams played and the way both sets of fans acted! It might as well have been a world cup game.

It's pronounded "ro̞.sɪʦˌkɪ" according to wikipedia. Notice the "ʦ" = a "t" sound. Or a sound similar to the "zz" in "pizza".

I wouldn't call it that even if they did lose the last time they played at BL.

    Can't wait..roll on August!
Our run in isn't too bad so if by any miracle we can still still stay up by then, fixtures against Charlton, Watford, Villa and Wigan don't look TOO bad to finish with.
