Lets face it, most people would excel in the Scottish League. You've basically just got to turn up and the odds are you'll score a hat trick
    That was my point

Maybe limitting it to 1 or 2 players from each team will improve the answers on the thread.

This line-up has to include Jon Dahl Tomasson and/or Andreas Andersson. Maybe Adi Akinbiyi, too.

Surely a mix of the awful Sunderland (x2) and Stoke City ( didnt they set the previous records by finishing bottom? i forget) sides.

In fairness they both had the odd golden patch and im sure we could find strikers with even worse goal to game ratios who have played a similar number of times - still, that is a pretty awful strike pairing.

Some fantastic missing of the point by bringing forth yet another strawman too.
Sportsmen and women know the risk of injury when they step in the ring, enter the field of play. Tyson was paid to inflict, and take, pain. How many capilliaries are burst when a boxer receives just an innocuous jab? Roy Keane was the best because he tackled hard. Sport wouldn't be the same if it was stopped everytime someone takes a hit. You take the moral high-ground but i doubt you would've been happy for Arsenal's flowing football of 2002 to have been stemmed because of an opposition player taking to ground at every opportunity. There's already legisltaion in place for serious injury.

Take your argument to Fifa, IAAF etc...explain it to sportspeople, to more fans. Ask the referees. Stop-start sport marginalises fans, who pay the wages- that's the economics of it all. If players can't take inflamation for an extra minute or two, find an alternative career. Your argument jeopardises the enjoyment of the fans, who make sport a viable career option. Utilitarianism i say, the greatest good for the fans, however sadistic it may sound.

Grrr useless FA. 23,500 tickets each for West ham and Liverpool...27,000 for the FA. Disgraceful.
