Vieira for Keane, not a chance imo.

Some of the suggestions on this thread are strange. Both Vieira and Keane were better than what Gerrard is now. And Jamie redknapp ffs

    CM Keane
    ACM Zola
    CF Shearer
    CF Cantona

I've put zola there, in a sort of a free role behind the front two, and chose the combination of Adams and Ferdinand, rather than using campbell when he was in his prime, because i think they would play better together.

I think one of the potential games to have massive violence is the germany game against poland....there has already been a meeting earlier in the year between polish skinheads and german neo nazis and it kicked off big time in Germany. Throw the presense of 100,000 england fans into it as well and its bound to kick off. England will possibly meet Poland in the second round or Germany...you just know theres gonna be trouble if england play either of them. Theres loads of Turks in Germany which adds to the problems, with Iranians and Saudis being present too. There will be all sorts happening and the German authorities are trying to brush it all under the carpet.

Great comeback, they repeated what they've done against Basle. Great team spirit, they've done the Premiership proud. Clinical finishing too, 5 shots on target, 4 goals.

    Congrats to Boro'.

Same here, it's a shame channel 5 couldn't have shown both home ties since they covered they away legs.

Hmm, incredible really. They deserve it, but why do they make it so hard for themselves? Crazy really. I'm happy for McClaren especially, seeing as they were knocked out of FA Cup and to have been knocked out of this too, would have been hard for him and the team to handle...besides it looks like he's now out of the running for the England manager's 'hotseat'.

Well done from a Man United fan

Two British teams in European cup finals. That just rocks! Domestic super cup if they both won.
