Thought I'd best ask you guys this one rather than bring up at OASC (30th August!). Does anyone know how time off works while attending IOT? My reasons for asking are two fold, firstly I'm wondering whether I'll be able to continue hunting while at Cranwell should I be fortunate enough to be accepted (there is actually a beagle pack in the area that was started by cadets at Cranwell!), and secondly my parents are getting worried they would never see me again! Any information would be gratefully accepted.

You work 24 hours a day 7 days a week in the military; technically anyway.

At IOT, expect weekends off, but not every weekend, and not until 5 weeks in at least. Expect some evenings to be full of events you must go to, and the occasional weekend taken up too. In general, 8-5, Mon-Fri.
