Yeeah of course i know what you're getting at. At my school there was a chav whose parents decided to name him after a hard man eastenders character, anyone guess who the e-enders character gets some rep :smile:

you go to holy cross? scary, whys everyone near me?! anyway yeah that was one of my prospective colleges but i just dont like the whole religion thing

I use RE as an excuse for blasphemy. Bury was admittedly a potential college, but I didn't like the whole chav-domination thing, and worse results. :p:

Ok I was arguing with this chav earlier... and apparently I am a quote: 'posh git' because I used the word 'elaborate'. Does anyone else find it really annoying when people think using words over 6 letters long is "posh"?

yes. it's right up there with being a 'toff' because you don't have a regional accent, or being a 'boffin' because you pass your exams.

Know what you mean about the name thing. I was at an athletics comp recently and a mum shouted at her girl "come 'ere Destiny". Destiny! Sort it out.

maybe it wasn't the girl's destiny to do well if her mum was shouting that.
