Is anyone staying at home for Uni? watch

i'm going to nottingham trent, its about 45 mins away on the buss from my house at the moment, but **** that lol i'm moving in to a flat with my friend. i couldn't bare to stay at home. and i would feel like i was missing out, like i had no freedom. any way it'd cost me a fortune in taxi's home, at least my flat will be a 10 min walk from the city centre so i can just stumble home lol

Obviously you should do whatever you think is best, and if you dont think you'll miss out then fair enough.

For me personally, one of the things I'm most looking forward to about uni is not having to answer to my parents, answering a million questions whenever I want to do something, and I would consider my parents to be quite liberal.

The freedom, flexibility, excitement and discovery of a new place all on your own is half of what unis all about for me, and if I stayed at home I KNOW it wouldn't be any fun, in fact, I'd almost certainly drop out. Anyway, there aren't any decent unis where I live so I don't really have a choice!
