Do you think some of our exams have been marked yet. Like the ones we took in early June. They have to do all sorts of statistical analysis and moderation after they have been marked. So do you think some have?

I think all exams are marked within the first month after they have beentaken. My exams officer said that after each paper, the xaminers' have to attend a meeting to discuss the mark scheme and to ensure that they are applying itin the same correct way. She mentioned that she was marking GCSE Double Science Biology for AQA again this year and that the deadline for marking was 5th July (I think). I think we took the exam on the 6th June, o it would be about a month after. After they're marked, they still have to work out the amount of marks to give to ''strange'' scripts which are often given to chief examiners to check and then do clerical checks to ensure all the marks have been added up correctly and that all people reeieve the mark that they deserve as well as deciding on the grade boundaries for each subjects and eventually by August, they publish the results. All in all it sounds like a very lengthy process.
