A girl with a lisp - cute or annoying?

Anon or delete please - don't want friends knowing that I'm overthinking this.

So I'm female, and I have a lisp (the kind where you pronounce 's' as a 'th' sound)

I'm 19 now, and to be honest I've pretty much embraced it.

I've been lucky in that no-one's ever commented on it or said anything nasty about it, but I'm curious - how do people really perceive it?

It's something that'd get on my nerves, but I'm quite easily annoyed.

My ex had a slight lisp at times, i found it quite cute, she was very embarrassed about it tho i spent alot of time trying to help her with it.

Neither cute or annoying. I just think it of it like an accent, which is strange.

Cute...until we're in public

A very slight lisp is very cute but anything more than that can get slightly annoying tbh. Depends how bad your lisp is.

Reply 7

annoying in my honest opinion

makes you sound like a 10 year old that's just lost it's front 2 baby teeth.

Reply 9

I'd have to hear a sample of the lisp.
Most are annoying but you get the occasional diamond in the speech impediment rough.

It would get on my nerves after a while to be honest. Why don´t you go see a speach therapist?

I don't have a problem with it
