talcum powder makes the wax adhere better to your hair (apparently if you put some on your eyelashes it makes your mascara stick better as well?! i've yet to try this...!).

The wax should come with some kind of after-wax wipe which has lots of essential oils/nice smelling stuff in it which is good for wiping of the residue...if not, use olive oil or baby oil

ooh thankyou! im gona buy some of that nair easy wax thats pink, but for the time being i shall contine to use my cold wax strips

I used that nair stuff you put in the microwave and spilt it all over the kitchen and it's still stuck in the bacth it's like chewing gum. I'm never using that again.

never had anything like that happen with me.....luckily we have a utility room outside where all the microwaves and washin machines is sooo i dont destroy everything :smile: and i keep my own waxing pot out there - its brilliant little tip about waxing always pull the direction the hair is growing to lesson ingrowing hairs ....ouch :frown: xoxo
