    What made me *really* cross was when I visited Durham, the head of Law there did a question and answer session and someone asked 'are there any A levels you don't accept?' and he answered 'Oh no, we accept everything, that is, except General Studies and Music'. Grrr! That and the rain stopped me applying...

    NO-ONE else had a problem with music or specified my conditional offer not to include it. I got the distinct impression that Durham were a). behind the times and b). thought rather too much of themselves!
