    I was just wondering...

You sit down tonight to watch the National Lottery show, first number comes out, you've got it, second one comes out, you've got that too, you match the third one too - a TENNER! But then...as the rest come out you've got them all! Wow and cos it's a quadruple rollover you've won enough money to see the rest of your days out with.

My question is, would you carry on with your education...college/Uni/training course...so that you could get a job and have a career, or wuld just just forget about education and go on a 20 year long holiday without the worry of money?

nah, uni sounds like too much fun. Plus you'd meet people to piss about with. Theyd be skint and you could go out whenever and not be concerned about at leasting passing your degree

I would go to uni and get a job, but at the same time have a much more enjoyable life. I would hate it to completely change my life cos then when Im 70 and have been not working at all and probably become really lazy Ill regret it because I wont have experienced all the things other people do.

I'd finish uni, yes, becuase uni is fun, but I'd do a fun job that has nothing to do with my degree when I'm done...

i would carry on, jsut because your a millionnaire doesn't mean you wouldn't get bored, you might be able to buy everything you wanted, but then what you want to do?
if you think about in the long term, you would get bloody bored, and plus everyone would be too nice to you, you may not know who your real friends are anymore!

I think I would carry on because i want the 'uni experience'. It would be better as i would have money to do things and not have huge debts! I think I would get a bit bored with all that money in the end. I mean i'd love to have it but I think i'd like to work as well.

I would have done, I did my degree for me, the fact it should help me get a job is merely a bonus.

lol...i would do my degree, get a job - you want to socialise, money isnt the best thing to talk to... sure you can go out etc... but meh your restricting yourself still i think.
and why stop with winning the lottery, you could get a good education, half work etc and enjoy life :O and maybe even make more money

I would still go to university, although mostly for the social aspect.

I wouldn't want to be labelled a rich thickie! At least with a degree I could say that I actually knew a thing or two about something.

I’d still go to university and get a degree not solely because of the experience or the guilt of doing nothing but because I’d start wanting to earn billions!

The difference being that with millions I could fund my own research and have a more secure life, yet still deal with the regular stress and have a normal social life.

I'd still go to uni definitely and I'd still definitely get a job preferably one that is sociable and fairly fun even if the wages are low. I've heard stories about people who have won the lottery and then begun to recluse eventually committing suicide, I would hate that to happen and although I would really love to have the extra money I would keep doing normal things, socialising with normal people, and just spending a little extra from time to time on fancy stuff
