I have a friend who i found has talked about me behind my back. How can i confront her?

I found out from my friend who refused not to say anything about what she said to him.

I'm worried because i thought i was really close to her and it hurts. How can i confront her about it or shall i just forget it for the sake of our frienship?

    I know...its just i thought she was differennt y'know?

It must be something bad because my friend refused to tell me and if it was something he knew would not hurt me he would have told me there and then.

well she doesnt know u know so dont confront her about it like that.
go up to her tel her i get the impression youve been saying things behind my back and i just wanna know that im wrong...
be all nice at first and if she continues to deny it tel her why lie? and go on from there, give her the chance to come clean first.
    thats what i would do

Yeah actually I think that's really good advice. Give her the chance to explain, defend herself etc so that you remain the innocent party and then if she still denies it say look you're making this worse please be honest with me or our friendship must mean nothing to you. Hopefully it won't be the end of your friendship but you shouldn't take her saying horrible stuff about you behind your back. That's not what friends do. Good luck.
