bf caught shoplifting what a loser. anyone know if he will have a criminal record as he received a warning from the fiscal for this
A caution or a warning? I think a caution does count as a criminal record.

If you're going to do something stupid, make sure you don't get caught. What a prat.

¨Fiscal¨ is Scottish slang for the Police.

A Procurator Fiscal - Latin slang if anything - is a local Crown prosecutor.

Disposals by the Fiscal, whether by fines or warnings, are not a record of a criminal conviction. They may however be disclosed in an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland/CRB check if they are deemed to be relevant, as can any information held by the police or judicial authorities.

Wgat a ****ing disgrace.

As mentioned, it'll probably show up on any enhanced DBS checks. This means that if he ever applies for a job with the police or the ambulance service, or in government (for example) they'll be able to see that he's been caught shoplifting before.
