How much do you eat?

I find it quite interesting to look at how much other people eat. At work tonight this guy ate/drank (on his break): 2 sausage rolls, 3 boxes of cadbury chocolate fingers and 2 pints of milk. Is it just me or is that like waaaaay too much?! I'd never eat on that. Today I've eaten an apple and a salad (didn't have any dinner as was at work), I usually eat a bit more than that, but not a lot).

I always watch what I eat and count calories obsessively lol. What are other peoples attitudes towards food? Do you have a 'don't care' approach or are you a calorie-counting health freak?

I eat a lot. This week I have been eating far too much and far too much unhealthy food because I have been living all by myself for a week...

loads of people say they are surprised to see im considerably small and wonder where all the food goes!

It varies depending on how eating disordered I am on that particular day :frown: generally around 1000 calories, sometimes more, often less.

I usually eat a lot when im bored, when im occupied too little. I think that goes for anyone though.

Basically, this thread isn't about others but rather it is about you and how good you are because you "count calories" and eat fruit and veg.

What a n00bl3t.

Personally I think you are far too young to be worrying about calories; you shouldn't need to for a long while yet. As for my diet, I don't follow a strict eating plan, per-se - although I do try and have a salad once a day, peice of fruit at least once a week and I 80% of my drink is water (tap). I do occasionally eat gunk food; but I am thin, and have a very quick metabolism, therefore I do not put on weight easily. In general I eat healthily. My mum provides me with a nice broad diet, however, there are always vegetables on my plate, which I eat.

I don't, although I know people who eat for comfort or if they're bored.

Well obviously it's true otherwise you wouldn't reply with such a fiery and incoherent post.

Well, try telling a 12 year old anorexic that she's too young to be thinking about calories. Unfortunately there seems to be no minimum age in which people become worried about their caloric intake.

i eat 3 or 4 meals a day. Normally double that the rest of my family eat. I always supplement meals when i go out by making myself a sandwich when i get home as im still hungry.

Im a **** cook so a typical lunch might be 8 slices of toast with 2 cans of baked beans and sausages, a few pieces of bacon and cheese sprinkled on the top.

Im pretty lanky though, so its not all good. I tried to put on muscle at one point and although i got stronger i couldnt bulk out. :frown:

Oh well, being thin is better than being fat i guess.
