I hope you didn't bring them with you...

I didnt in the end, why should I have not?

because it's not really the done thing. You dont need to take your certificates unless they specifically ask to see them :-s
Reply 4
and its less professional to bring all your certificates.

If you are reading this after 9 am today then it is too late but I’m going on an interview in a while and I don’t know whether to bring my certificates(as in GCSE's ect), Its only a part time job and all my details are on my CV but mebey this is the reason I haven’t got any of the other jobs I’ve had interviews for (only 2 but still), and quick advice would be appreciated.

I think take them in your NRA if full time job, some companies I've been interviewed ask that you tae them along, and they photocopy them. Just been to a whole day of interviews at a company for a job. Was told to take NRA by school to interviews, with full time jobs it probably means more.

GOOD LUCK!

oh rite, i was just wondering if it would increase my chance of getting the job if I brought it (what with being so unsuccessful in my last interviews) I chose not to in the end - just sticked with what i knew would not be frowned upon really

Some people don't get any certificate, when they get a E and U grades. They only get the results slip....

If you can't produce the certificate, you ain't passed, you can produce the results slip though?

Would they be that desparate to even photocopy the results slip statement? Just wondering, I know of some people, but interested how they got by and onto the job successfully.

I don't know whether they were photocopied because they required a high number of UCAS points or not, but I don't know how GCSE certicates show that, since UCAS is based on A levels. I took all my stuff in my NRA to my interview today, and the interviewer seemed interested in looking at it. Yeah, take results slips, I took mine for exams i'm waiting to be certificated for, and the interviewer also was interested in them.

Just out of interest, anyone been asked for ID at an interview, I did halfway through my interview today, are you usually expected to take it?
Reply 11
I should think so, i wouldn't be alarmed or anything, probably just to see that your paperwork is in order.

Seems silly, im not bringing ID with me to an interview any extra baggage is stupid. Just bring yourself, as little fuss as possible maximum concentration on the interview.

I took a bag, but the interviews and tests at the company were from 9:30am until 2:30pm, so i took something for dinner, I didn't expect the company to provide it, very nice that they did! I also took something to read for when I was waiting around for an hour, when I didn't have tests/interviews, and a mobile phone, key, money, NRA, I can't go anywhere without a bag :p: There was another girl there with a bag too, you need a bag if you haven't got pockets and your going to be there all day  Didn't take one to my interview last week, well I did, but I left it in the car(purposely)
