Hi OP - even though I don't go by the league tables and tend to look at research and other more tangible strengths of particular institutions - Westminster does appear in the top 50 above other institutions for EE like City University and Oxford Brookes in the complete university guide.

Westminster is building on its research for the all the sciences and engineering and you can compare the research assessment exercise results with other institutions - I think EE is very small at Westminster though I'm not sure, they claim to have been teaching this discipline at Westminster for over 100 years - if they are anything like the Life sciences school, then you will be getting a good quality degree.

I understand that they also do a 4 year Meng EE degree and I think this degree would be very sought after to potential employers with high starting salaries.

Westminster is best known for its media, arts and communications, architecture, humanities, psychological sciences and languages - but it is up and coming and as long as you take full advantage of everything they offer you, I think you will do just fine. Good luck with it all.
