When does the UCAS track update whether we have been accepted into the university or have been rejected? Do rejections show up earlier?

It updates whenever the universities have made a decision. You don't need to wait for all of them, they will update individually. Rejections won't appear any earlier necessarily, it's down to how efficient the universities are as to when track is updated.

If you want to find out the offer as soon as its out then dont wait for the email that track has updated since that can sometimes come the next day.

Decision emails are sent out as batch jobs by UCAS a few times throughout the day. The batches are mixed decisions.

It won't make a difference if your decision is Conditional, Unconditional, Interview or Unsuccessful; you'll be notified the same day.

If you have interviews, you will hear by email or letter (in my experience) and you will generally hear between 1-4 weeks after. But it all varies by universities, but the have to make their minds up by sometime in May (Double check UCAS I'm not certain.). Otherwise it is a bit random. But you will hear and don't get too impatient. UCAS always send emails when track is updated so you don't need to check track every hour!

    Hi,

Notifications emails have been sent out twice a day, regardless of the offer.

This was changed today so that emails will now be sent every 15 minutes throughout the day.
