    I don't remember doing this at all..

    Barium Iodide(aq) --- Ag+ (aq)---> precipitate A

    --- Bromine (aq)---> dark red/brown solution B

    --- Sulphate ions (aq)---> precipitate C

    We have to find the colour and ionic equation for precipitate A, the role of the aqueous bromine and the colour and formula of precipitate C.

    any ideas?

    This is a simple test for halide. Precipitation of silver halides are formed, in this case, A is the ppt silver iodide. silver iodide is yellow, the chloride is white, the bromide is creamy(though sometimes can appear white-ish)

    The white ppt B is the barium sulphate ppt.

    formula wise, i figure you should able to work it out easily.
