It's a pretty poor selection with some highlights. Would recommend Men of War, Tropico 3, World of Goo, Trine, UFO After* or Beat hazard (of those I've seen so far).

Looking at the thread on HUKD, it would appear that you can trade in the purchased (or rather free, with the code) title and use the funds to buy better games...

Any game on the site? I recommend Dark Sector. Played it on the 360 a while back and quite enjoyed it.

You might be able to save credit for later, but you can't withdraw the money from the site, can you? Given that the code works for /all/ games, I don't see what the point in this is?
After more browsing, I think I'll get Men of War: Red Tide. Men of War is a pretty spiffy game.

Is Beat Hazard any good? I've watched videos on Youtube and compared to (say) Audiosurf which does the whole thing of setting the game to your music as well, it looked a bit naff.

I think they ran out of copies... I was looking for it yesterday as well That doesn't seem quite right given that they sell downloads, but I assume that they have a limited number of licences.

So many awesome games. PLEASE buy Shadow Complex and Braid if you don't already own it. However, though I love it lie my own non-existent child, maybe avoid GW2 unless you want your life eaten away
I have my eye on N+ myself. It's 400 points in a couple of weeks so I probably should just buy regardless, but can anyone give positive/negative feedback on it?
I might also take the plunge on Castle Crashers. I played with a friend locally for quite a lonnnng time and loved it. Hilarious times.
Also, Oblivion (GOTY, all DLC) is £6.80; Morrowind (GOTY) £3.25.
Marking the game's Mac release, Team Fortress 2 also has a Steam free weekend and is also available for half price.
I'm surprised the Oblivion thing really does have all DLC. I wasn't aware a version had been released that included Fighter's Stronghold (which was released after the original GOTY edition and until today to my knowledge had never been available anywhere other than on its own on Bethesda's website). Not that it matters to me since I got all the DLC including Fighter's Stronghold months and months ago (and love the game dearly )
Crysis and Crysis: warhead are 50% off today on steam, a different game each day of the week from EA.
Crysis can be picked up cheaper and that's even without it being on offer (plus the retail version there has the 64-bit version, which you don't get when buying via Steam). Though cheers for the heads-up about EA week. Despite the stick they get, I tend to enjoy games in the EA range, so hopefully there'll be something later in the week that will be worth buying off Steam
