    If 25mg of X (307g) is dissolved in 10g of water, calculate the concentration if the solution in g dm^-3 and in mM.

    How many cm^3 of the above solution would contain 0.005g of X?


    So..

    25mg is 0.025g
    10g is 0.01 dm^-3

    ..thats as far as I've got.. :o:

    ok the concentration is g x dm^-3 so it'll be 0.025/0.01. From this you get 2.5 g x dm^-3.

    ok if 2.5 g in 1 dm^-3 then 0.005/2.5 will be the amount of water to contain 0.005g of X
