    You're as mixed race as Amanda Mealing or Ryan Giggs.
    Cool! I didn; know Giggs was 1/4 Black! I would never have known looking at him!

    Yes you can start such an agency, the BNP had a similar policy for joining their organisation.
    And everyone thinks that's right out of order.

    Then it is not socially acceptable!

    You're white. If you look white you're white, if you look black you're black. Sorry to break it, but you're not black enough to be a token black employee if that's what an employer needs.

    thats kind of different though because albinos simply lack pigmenation/skin colour.
    Skin colour is not the only thing that shapes stereotypes of what a race looks like.

    personally I try not to judge race by appearance because I am an example of how looks can be deceiving.

    The reason why racial or gender schemes like this exist is because the "playing field" is not "level".
    Even if that was true, you LOOK white. They're not going to ask you at interview what colour your great great grandad was or whatever. Face the facts dude, you can't compete fairly with your peers, so you're looking for a leg up. You're pathetic.

    How can I tell if I'm an ethnic minority?

    I am thinking of applying to this once I start university:
    http://www.seo-london.org/learn-more-about-seo-london/

    It says you have to be from black or asian background

    So, please tell me if I'm an ethnic minority:

    Family Tree-
    Father's side:
    Great grandmother = black
    Great grandfather = white
    --
    Grandfather = mixed (black-white)
    Grandmother = mixed (black-white)
    --
    Father = mixed (black-white) [looks like obama]
    Mother = White
    --
    Me = ?? (I look white, but have curly hair. It would be impossible to tell my background by looking at me)

    It seems I am from a black background?

    If you look white, chances are when you go for an interview and the admission tutor is racist , he wont be able to tell your foreign

    but if you have a foriegn accent he will

    so if you look white your not a minority
    but if you sound like one you are :yes:

    She never said anything about being foreign. You don't have to be foreign to be an ethnic minority. If your parents are black and you were born over here, you'd still be classed as an ethnic minority - being a foreigner doesn't determine that.

    I'm merely taking every advantage I can get. It's the smartest move

    so people can see my colour:

    I think I will not get past the interview stage because I'm too light-skinned :O
    hmm, this is bad lol

    On a similar note, I'm sure I've seen similar things for the LGBT community. Surely anyone could join that? I mean they're not going to make you prove your homosexuality are they?
