Are you talking about when the question wanted you to describe a mechanism. I believe it said any mechanism we have studied?

Reaction conditions for alcohol to alkene... agggghh. What are they? My revision guide told me concentrated sulfuric acid and reflux
    and also phosphoric acid no?

anyone know whether the reaction was propgation or not?
No, it was the one on CH4 + Br2 .. and you had to outline the radical reaction, for example the initiation, propagation and termination, and how you could end up with a small yield of Ethane.. its where the 2 methyl radicals react together in the termination stage forming a Ethane molecule.

There is 2 ones in mine.

-Ethanol vapour passed over an Al2O3 catalyst or pumice stone.
    OR
    - Reflux with Excess conc H2SO4, at 170 degrees C.

It is a cgp one so I'm pretty sure they make mistakes and miss things out

I'm sure you are right, I may google it

I'm not sure. I can't remember most of the questions. My brain has blocked it all out :erm:
It seems quite a few people struggled as well.

I think I was ok up to the article. Then I failed
