Yup My Unit 2 NAB is soon, as is this A/B assessment thing. It doesn't affect our grade, though. We're just moving on to Unit 3.

I had the assesment on thursday it was basically a past paper - we only had time to do paper1 Its wasn't too bad there were loads of question on straight line and circles but there was a question on additional formula which was really really hard I toke a guess :eek3: hahaha

    It's given in the exam:
    sin(A±B)= sinAcosB ± cosAsinB
    cos(A±B)= cosAcos B ± sinAsinB

I think I cried when a 7 marker addition formula question popped up at the end of an exam.

I preferred to stick to reccuring relations and polynomials

    I love:
    -Straight Line
-Differentation (espically those lovely 8 markers!)
    -Sequences
    -Polynomials
    -Compound Angle/Addition formula
    -Circles

    I hate:
-Functions and graphs (the functions part is luvly, but the graph bit just ruins it)
    -Quadratic theory !!!!!!!!!!!
    -Intergration !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    -Unit 2 Trig !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Will the graphs EVER go away...

Wait till you get to unit 3 when you get some nonsense about differentiating and integrating at the same time to find the area under the curve :eek3: complete double dutch!

There might be some more graphs in unit 3 aswell iirc

No...they'll haunt you for the rest of your life now. :p: Just wait until you come to uni, even for Geography I've had to deal with constructing some mathsy graphs in excel. :sigh:

I will find the person who made this course, scratch the +ve parabola graph into their car, and the cubic function graph into their face.

I can't actually think of any part of the course that doesn't involve a graph, the like formula, y=quadratic, shaded areas in graphs....**** off!!!!
