Getting to know someone better.....
How do you make conversation with someone you don't have much in common with? (or don't know of anything yet)
I want to get to know a few people I work with, but not many of them are at college like I am, so the ones who work there full time are a bit hard to talk to....

I'm sure there are numerous topics on this but I'm a ****** and don't know how to work the search thing...yeah....

being random seems to work for me...
i remember one friend
- she was just sitting there on the bus and i was bored, so i say hi and said - do you like malteasers? (i was eating a pack)
and shes like oh yes i do
and i just said, thats nice... and sat back in my seat
the next day she sat with me and we just talked general stuff

Yeah i agree. I just tend to ramble on about a load of nonsense and more often than not we can find some common ground.
