    the question pretty straight forward i don't know if the mark scheme has got the wrong answer. its simple subbing in the values corresponding to
    (lamda) = ay/d , so in this case only info not directly gives is the Y , which i thought is half of what the slit operation is.
    i.e
    lamda= 1.25x1.25 /4.60 x2 <--- or am i totally on the wrong track.

    I am tempted to believe yore right , is there any background info we're missing?

    or do the following ,
    extend the line from A ,also extend the line horizontally of the speaker at the bottom ..both lines A and the horizontal line met at 90 degree say C ..then consider similar triangles to find the length AB(by drawing a diagonal of the big rectangle and small one)..
