Does anyone know where I can find a decent set of tables that breaks deals down into sectors. Had a look around and can't find any. Thanks

Your school might subscribe to Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, FactSet or Reuters. Ask around your campus. If not, I will try to upload league tables here.

Check if your uni gives access to Thomas ONE Banker. You can view customised league tables through that and can customise by sector if you wish.

Thomson Reuters have this which is pretty good. Industry breakdown on p2 but it is only for Financial/Energy & Power/Industrials/Healthcare/Materials though

Was looking for something a little more in depth

... while you're at it, you might as well upload some pirated DVDs

(I don't think Reuters will be best pleased this is now free research )

It's free on their website anyway.

    Should I take it down?

Really? Fair enough, forgive me, it looked far too detailed to be free... Sorry :o:

Yep. You need to stick in an email addy to register but it doesn't cost anything.

    Example from Thomson ONE Banker

Customised table for 2009 Worldwide Completed - Media and Entertainment

You can also customise by country e.g. UK M&A, Europe M&A, US M&A etc, and can break down by sector as well if you wish. I'm sure your uni library will have a subscription to it.
