Write the permutation (15)(8234)(238)(2769) and its inverse both as products of disjoint cycles and in two-line notation.

We haven't been taught what to do with repeated numbers and I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to start. Obviously the (15) will be unchanged but how would I work out the rest?

    In general, (a_1\ a_2\ \cdots\ a_{n-1}\ a_n) = (a_1\ a_n)(a_1\ a_{n-1})\cdots(a_1\ a_3)(a_1\ a_2)... it's worth going through a few examples to see why this is the case.
