Does anybody know how the UMS points are distributed for AQA Physics A unit 1 and 2 exams (for jan/june 2009)?
Not the UMS grade boundaries, but the UMS points for each total mark..because I know that you don't have to get full marks to get the full UMS points you can usually lose 4-5 marks and still get awarded 100 UMS points.

Would appreciate a source if possible please, preferably from AQA's site - I can't seem to find it.

    Thanks :yy:

It varies slightly each year depending on how easy or hard the exam is.

Our Physics teacher told us that for June 09, Full UMS was 64/70 and a grade A was 50/70.

I found it, but they make it f*****g hard to find

    Ok so:
Go to AQA homepage > Qualifications (top) > Results Statistics (top, far right) > Grade boundaries archive (bottom of menu on the left hand side), then choose your year/qualification - bear in mind this will only be relevant for exams up to Jan 09...if you want Jun 09 onwards, you have to click on "Grade Boundaries" on the left menu, *not* "Grade Boundaries Archive"...which is pretty retarded if you ask me...why don't they just put it under one tab? XD

    Hope this helps
