In 3rd year of nursing degree. Failed my last placement so retook it again this year- this is basically my final attempt at the placement or I fail my whole degree.

I have completely HATED this current placement- in fact I have hated every minute of my whole course. I have completed the correct amount of days, however made a mistake in my final week and have been informed by my university that I need to complete an additional 30days before I can pass the placement. The problem is- I am just so unmotivated to go back and do these days. I am now living back at home, I have a job here and am just dreading going back again because I am sure that I will fail the placement anyway. (my perfomance has been pretty borderline and my supervisor hates my guts.)

If I leave the course at this stage (I have completed 60 credits this year) will I be entitled to anything or would it even be possible to change my degree?

sorry dude you have to continue.

I know what you are going through as the degree I chose PPE isnt what I now wnat to be doing and I have 1 year and and a half left.

stick it out work you ass off at the placement and finish your degree I would be psyched if this was my final year.

also think about what this degree will do for you think of it as a stepping stone for your ambition.

Be strong and stick it out man, you can't quit now - think about the time and probably even more importantly, the money spent up until now to get where you are.
